Cervical and Pelvic Traction

A cervical traction or pelvic traction treatment involves applying continuous or intermittent stretching force to the vertebrae using a machine. It is designed to relieve neck and back pain by stretching the spine to relieve pressure on compressed nerves and stretch tight muscles.

The mechanical force decompresses the space between vertebrae, which decompresses the inter vertebral discs aiding in treatment of herniated or protruded discs. The decompression thereby reduces pain and speeds up healing.
